Freddie was an unlikely candidate for the ministry but isn't that just the type God loves to use?
He began drinking alcohol at 13 & was an alcoholic until he was 22. God intervened in his life one day after a terrible accident. He was burned all over his body, desperate and in pain. It was at this low point where he became a Christian.
Freddie's life continued to change when he met his wife, Jaqueline and they were called into ministry together. In 1995 he became a pastor. “It’s only been the hand of God that has preserved me,” he says.
Since becoming a pastor, he’s been attacked by machete and run over with a car in an attempt to stop preaching. His body was giving out as a result of these attacks and left half his body paralyzed. But once again, God's powered was shown and Freddie was completely healed!
When Freddie shares his story, people listen. Just recently over 1,500 youth attended an event Freddie and Jacqueline organized and many hearts were changed! Today, Freddie has a 15 year old son who is very musical– he is learning drums all on his own. His 9 year old daughter, Elizabeth is very gifted and preaches and sings. In face, there was a large youth gathering recently where she preached at. Her mom helped her prepare her notes for the event, but mostly it was God speaking through her to the group. Their youngest boy is 5 years old, Ishmael who will no doubt, follow be a testimony to God power as well.
